Cough Assist helps to clear secretions by simulating a cough. It is most useful in patients with an ineffective cough due to muscle weakness such as those with muscular dystrophy or spinal cord issues.
Eakin Respiratory offers a range of Cough Assist Circuits designed to work effectively with all common cough assist machines. They come with a machine end filter as standard and a range of patient interface options.
Our cough assist circuits are designed with optional accessories to meet the needs of both patients and caregivers. Each circuit offers a choice of UltraClear face masks in sizes 4, 5, or 6. For added customisation a mouthpiece can be included in sets AMVC1792-173 and AMVC1871-099. Some packs also feature an optional double swivel patient elbow or catheter mount, for tracheostomy connections.
