Catheter mounts are constructed of extruded plastic tubes, available in a variety of lengths and materials and can be fitted with a variety of elbows and connector types.
Catheter Mounts, Tracheostomy high flow cannula (AMTC)
Tracheostomy high flow cannula (AMTC1100) is used during high flow oxygen therapy in tracheostomized patients.
The Tracheostomy high flow cannula is constructed of a extruded plastic tube and patient-end connector – the connector having a gas exit hole and cough splatter cup. The cannula connects at one end to a patient interface such as a tracheostomy tube and to a breathing circuit at the other end.
- Compliance of connectors to BS EN ISO 5356-1:2015.
- Compliance of Tubing to BS EN ISO 5367:2014.
- Compliance with catheter mount standard BS 7143-1989.
- Stability of device lifetime is 5 years (plus expected usage period).
- AMTC Tracheostomy High Flow Cannula can permit high flows from 4 to 60L/min.
